Eurelec Trading SC is a joint venture between REWE Group and E.Leclerc, the two largest independent retail groups in Europe, based in Brussels. We are a Europeanwide wholesaler for negotiating and purchasing branded products from the largest international FMCG suppliers. Eurelec represents a unique model on the European market that is in constant search for synergies between REWE Group and E.Leclerc while preserving the identity and culture of each of the partner. Dedicated to a very strong expansion, we are strengthening our team by recruiting the Talent of an: 

INTERNATIONAL CATEGOY BUYER

You have a first successful experience in retail or consumer goods sector with a FMCG distributor (ideally in the food or FMCG sector). You are looking for a position with a large scope of autonomy?

As the keystone of EURELEC's organization, you are in charge of international negotiations with industrial FMCG suppliers. This is from the preparation of the negotiation strategy to the finalization of the contracts. You are responsible for the proper implementation of the alignment between the different partner and stakeholder.

Your main missions:

• Build the negotiation argument/analysis (PM analysis, Margin...)
• Ensure the animation and leading of the commercial & legal meeting 
• Reporting/Coordinating for your negotiation group
• Analyze innovations/relaunches impacts
• Build the prices in accordance with your mandate
• Propose analyses further to request of the International Purchasing Manager and Negotiation group (price, raw materials, market, etc.)
• Assist in the transmission of information to our shared service center
• Act as an interface between industrial suppliers and the group's entities in the countries
• Involved in all projects related to negotiation with suppliers (e.g. market & category analysis, raw material analysis, negotiation performance measurement, development of data-based tools & systems for decision-making...)

Your profile:

• Professional command of English, fluent in French and/or German would be appreciated
• Academic Studies preferably in international business, purchasing or food industry ingenieurs
• Excellent knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite 
• Challenge/result-oriented negotiation mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Is a team player who likes to work in a mutually supportive environment
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Problem solving
